DeBoer Bros. history started in 1892, when Jemme DeBoer emigrated from The Netherlands and settled in Chicago.

1920’s & 1930’s

By the 1920’s, DeBoer Bros. was primarily a garbage business.

Jim DeBoer cofounded Incinerator Inc., the first privately owned municipal incinerator in the US.

DeBoer Bros. maintained contracts with the City of Chicago by providing service to O’Hare and Midway Airports.

DeBoer Bros. Garbage Truc

1972

DeBoer Bros. was acquired by Oakbrook, Illinois based Waste Management, Inc.

Portable Sanitation of Tampa

1999

Steve DeBoer and Al Lopez, founded Portable Sanitation of Tampa, Inc.

 

Portable Sanitation is the largest provider of portable restrooms in the Tampa Bay Area.
